America Hears, Manufacturer and Distributor of Digital Hearing Aids, Introduces Virtual Office 2.0

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) November 15, 2007 -- America Hears (http://www.americahears.com), the premier distributor and manufacturer of digital hearing aids over the Internet, is pleased to announce the latest version of its exclusive Virtual Office software, VO 2.0 (http://www.americahears.com/CONVENIENCE_vo.shtml). This new version, which works with the latest hearing aid technology, was developed in house by Henry Smith, president of America Hears, and Vyacheslav Bakanov, IT specialist for America Hears. It offers many important upgrades and enhancements while continuing to provide the same ease of use as the previous version.

With VO 2.0, owners of America Hears digital hearing aids can program their aids at home, right on their own computer, or can request a programming upgrade easily over the Internet. In response to the introduction of the new hearing aid technology used in the Liberty line of hearing aids as well as customer requests and suggestions, the new version also adds the following benefits:

--Faster speed of operation, which leads to faster and easier programming of digital hearing aids

--Automatic calibration changes when the hearing aid user changes the tubing length for the Liberty open fit hearing aid

--A revised fitting report that is more user friendly and easier to understand

--A new look to the interface, with more pleasing, clearer graphics

Bakanov, who coded VO 2.0, has worked for America Hears for over six years. Prior to joining the company, he worked on hearing aid technology in the Ukraine. He holds a master's degree in computer science, and he received his PhD in business administration, for which he wrote a dissertation covering the hearing aid industry, from Warren National University.

"I am pleased that we are able to release this new version of our Virtual Office software to our customers," said Smith. "We strive to be on the forefront of hearing aid technology at all times. Our in-house team has worked hard to respond to the feedback we received from the first version, and we believe we have created software that is both easy to use and extremely helpful for users of any of our digital hearing aids."

The new version of the hearing aid software is available for download on www.americahears.com. Alternatively, customers can request to have a CD sent to them directly.

For most, proof of productivity was measured by hours in the office, rather than by results.
